Our Mission
Via Forma Learning Academy exists to help students unlock the world through literacy by providing explicit, systematic instruction in a supportive learning environment. The academy is committed to serving students with unique learning needs through personalized instruction, foundational skill development, and a low-sensory educational setting.
Instruction should meet the needs of the child.
Every child deserves access to literacy.
Foundational years matter deeply.
Meet our Founder
Dione Chase, Ed.S.
Founder & Director, Via Forma Learning Academy
Credentials: Specialist in Educational Leadership | Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)
With nearly two decades of veteran classroom and leadership experience, she has dedicated her career to one mission: ensuring every child has the key to unlock the world through literacy.
After countless hours at small-group tables watching lightbulbs go off when a struggling reader finally "cracks the code," she founded Via Forma to fix a broken norm. In massive traditional schools, unique learners are forced to fit into a mold that wasn't built for them.
She believes the mold should fit the child. By fusing advanced expertise in structured literacy with an intimate, low-sensory environment, she provides the explicit, systematic instruction K–3 students need to close learning gaps, build foundational skills, and move forward with absolute confidence.
